Me desempeño como investigador científico en el campo de la historia cultural argentina, con orientación en temas de música y cultura popular, desde 1983. Soy autor de 13 libros que abordan distintos aspectos del derrotero histórico de los géneros de música popular en la Argentina del siglo XX (tango, jazz, rock, folclore). Soy docente de "Historia del siglo XX" de la Facultad de Periodismo y Comunicación Social (UNLP), lo que me ha permitido enmarcar la producción investigativa en una visión amplia, a la vez que articular el plano de la historia cultural con el de los procesos político-sociales del mundo contemporáneo. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
