As a PhD student I developed hard skills in synthetic methods for the obtention of new ligands and for the obtention of air sensitive transition metal complexes, not only in this area also I acquired high interest for the study of new catalytic methods for the reactivity of small molecules (focus in N2 and H2) through emerging methods as electrocatalysis and photoinduced catalysis.My research experience encompasses a wide range of areas, including coordination chemistry, organometallic chemistry, and organic chemistry. Over the years, I have developed a strong proficiency in operating various laboratory instruments and handling air-sensitive compounds, utilizing advanced techniques such as Schlenk methodologies and glove box environments. My main focus has been the synthesis of complex ligands and their coordination complexes with transition metals (Gold, Copper and Iron).
