Mi nombre es Luis E. Lozano-Aguilar soy Biólogo egresado de la UNAM, actualmente me encuentro terminando mis estudios de maestría en el Instituto de Biología dentro del Posgrado en Ciencias Biológicas de la UNAM. He participado en congresos de herpetología nacionales, así como internacionales y he colaborado en estudios ecofisiológicos y estudios de conservación en México, Panamá y Ecuador. Mis principales intereses de investigación son la ecología térmica e hídrica de los anfibios y reptiles, su conservación, así como el estudio de su susceptibilidad a la extinción por perturbaciones ambientales en su hábitat, como las ocasionadas potencialmente por el cambio climático. Dichas evaluaciones las he realizado por criterios fisiológicos y modelos mecanicistas-correlativos de distribución de especies, los cuales son alimentados por información recopilada de pruebas experimentales que muestran los umbrales de confort térmico e hídrico, desempeño ante variables térmicas e hídricas, así como los límites de su tolerancia ante la temperatura. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
