En el Laboratorio de Aplicaciones Biotecnológicas y Microbiología de la Universidad Nacional de Hurlingham (UNAHUR), participé en el proyecto "Estudio del cannabidiol y péptidos antimicrobianos" en la modulación de la respuesta inflamatoria y el estrés oxidativo. Mi rol incluyó evaluar in vitro la actividad antiinflamatoria y antioxidante del cannabidiol (CBD) y los péptidos P5 y P6.2 en células de macrófagos de ratón estimuladas con LPS. Este estudio forma parte del proyecto RIDDE aprobado sobre el CBD como antimicrobiano. Implementé técnicas para medir citotoxicidad, viabilidad celular, citoquinas proinflamatorias, mieloperoxidasa y óxido nítrico. Los resultados permitirán avanzar en formulaciones terapéuticas para infecciones pulmonares y cutáneas, contribuyendo al desarrollo de nuevas terapias antimicrobianas y antiinflamatorias.
