con énfasis en taxonomía y parásitos de pequeños mamíferos. He desarrollado trabajos de investigación con pequeños mamíferos usando material de colecciones biológicas, capturando mamíferos en campo y revisando los parásitos asociados a estos. Actualmente algunas de estas investigaciones han sido publicadas o sometidas a revistas indexadas. Participó en calidad de becaria realizando estandarización y publicación de datos de la Colección de Mamíferos de la Universidad de Caldas, a través del SIB Colombia.
