Mi trayectoria académica y profesional se desarrolla en el campo de las ciencias veterinarias con un enfoque hacia las ciencias biológicas. Mis áreas de interés se vinculan con el manejo, conservación e investigación in situ de vida silvestre, lo que implica el monitoreo y vigilancia de salud en poblaciones silvestres, indagar sobre la presencia de enfermedades endémicas, la prevención de zoonosis y determinar el impacto de factores antrópicos sobre los ecosistemas. Evaluación de proyectos de conservación en áreas naturales protegidas como en zonas de gradiente ambiental (áreas buffer, zonas urbanas y periurbanas) que impliquen manipulación, inmovilización, toma de muestras biológicas y sanidad de poblaciones silvestres, asistencia y valoración in situ de morbilidad y mortandad y la realización de diagnóstico post mortem. Llevar a cabo actividades enfocadas en la educación con comunidades locales desde un enfoque ecologista, participación en la toma de decisiones respecto al uso sustentable de la tierra y la creación de corredores biológicos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
