Mi experticia se relaciona al funcionamiento de los sistemas acuáticos de agua dulce, en especial a ríos y las lagunas en su llanura de inundación. A partir del estudio del fitoplancton, en especial de las cianobacterias potencialmente tóxicas formadoras de floraciones, y de las macrófitas flotantes encaro evaluaciones del estado de los ambientes. Utilizo a las algas como indicadoras de contaminación o eutroficación.
