El Laboratorio de Proteínas Quinasas y Cáncer bajo la dirección de la Dra. Virginia Novaro (IBYME-CONICET) tiene una orientación de oncología experimental y apunta a estudiar aspectos moleculares y celulares que involucran a la vía de PI3K/AKT/mTOR en el desarrollo del cáncer de mama. Analizamos también la relevancia de dicha vía cómo blanco terapéutico en combinación con la terapia endócrina, de manera de evitar o retrasar la aparición de resistencia a la misma. El trabajo involucra la utilización de ratones, cultivo celular y biopsias humanas y la aplicación de técnicas de biología molecular, histología e inmunoquímica, entre otras. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
