Nuestro laboratorio trabaja sobre las bases que regulan el desarrollo del grano de polen y en la comprensión de los mecanismos moleculares que controlan las interacciones polen-pistilo en plantas. Un entendimiento de dichos eventos proveería las bases necesarias para la modulación de la especificidad de la polinización y, a la vez, facilitaría la transferencia de genes entre las especies cultivadas y las salvajes.
