Dentro del área que investigo he desarrollado habilidades y capacidades que contemplan el manejo de imágenes satelitales Landsat 5, 7, 8 y 9 dentro de la plataforma Google Earth Engine, aplicando índices (diferentes NDWI, NDVI). También me he capacitado en el procesamiento de imágenes SAR, para realizar detección de cambios en determinados acontecimientos que no es posible utilizar sólo imágenes provenientes del óptico. He analizado regímenes de precipitaciones anuales y su relación con el fenó... Dentro del área que investigo he desarrollado habilidades y capacidades que contemplan el manejo de imágenes satelitales Landsat 5, 7, 8 y 9 dentro de la plataforma Google Earth Engine, aplicando índices (diferentes NDWI, NDVI). También me he capacitado en el procesamiento de imágenes SAR, para realizar detección de cambios en determinados acontecimientos que no es posible utilizar sólo imágenes provenientes del óptico. He analizado regímenes de precipitaciones anuales y su relación con el fenómeno ENOS, analizado las diferentes coberturas del suelo, aplicando algoritmos de clasificación; pudiéndose aplicar en áreas como ecología de paisajes para analizar la transformación de nuestros paisajes debido a la interacción entre las comunidades humanas y la naturaleza. También manejo plataformas de software libre como Qgis, SNAP, Goglee Earth Engine e InfoStat y tengo habilidades en programación lenguaje R y Python.
