Durante mi pasantía en el grupo 'Terapia génica y celular en modelos experimentales de la Enfermedad de Alzheimer (EA)', me he incorporado a proyectos dedicados al estudio del modelo de EA esporádico por la administración intracerebroventricular de estreptozotocina en rata y me he capacitado en: procesamiento de cerebro para inmunohistoquímica y microscopia, extracción de proteínas y ARN de tejido cerebral, aislamiento de ARN, retrotranscripción, PCR de punto final y en tiempo real, y western blot. Además, he asistido a los investigadores autorizados a la experimentación en ratas, en las cirugías estereotáxicas, en los tests de comportamiento (enterramiento de bolitas (Marble Burying), campo abierto (Open Field), reconocimiento del objeto nuevo (Novel Object Recognition), Laberinto de Barnes (Barnes Maze) y nado forzado (Forced Swimming Test). Finalmente, he asistido a los investigadores para el sacrificio animal al final del experimento, donde me he interiorizado en las técnicas de perfusión intracardíaca, extracción de cerebro, y microdisección cerebral de hipocampo y corteza. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
