La línea de investigación en la que me encuentro trabajando en mi carrera de doctorado propone estudiar y comprender las bases biológicas de la mayor susceptibilidad al TEA de los varones y/o de la resiliencia en las mujeres. Para ello trabajamos con un modelo animal en ratón y analizamos distintos tipos de comportamientos así como también distintos regiones cerebrales y tipos neuronales involucrados mediante técnicas de inmunohistoquímica.
