Síntesis y caracterización de catalizadores heterogéneos modificados para el desarrollo de nanomateriales para catálisis medio-ambiental y otras aplicaciones específicas. Conocimiento de síntesis de materiales catalíticos del tipo arcillosos bajo técnicas de pilareado y delaminado. Conocimiento y/o manejo de técnicas caracterización como: DRX, fisisorción de N2, espectroscopías de UV-vis, SEM, TEM, entre otras.
