El laboratorio donde se desarrolla la investigación está a cargo del Dr. Gabriel Gutkind, pionero y referente en el estudio de las Beta-lactamasas en el país y en la región. Desde mi incorporación al laboratorio en 2007, desarrollé trabajos de investigación relacionados a la resistencia a antimicrobianos en microorganismos emergentes, tales como Pseudomonas putida, Achromobacter spp. y Sphingobacterium spp. En 2010, bajo la dirección de la Dra. Marcela Radice, comencé el doctorado analizando fenotípica y genotípicamente los mecanismos responsables de la resistencia a antimicrobianos, en especial a carbapenemes, en los microorganismos antes mencionados. Posteriormente en el año 2016, comencé con el trabajo de investigación posdoctoral con una beca CONICET, centrándose en la detección de nuevas técnicas para mejorar la identificación de especies del género Achromobacter y en el estudio de diversos mecanismos de resistencia. Actualmente soy investigadora de CONICET (Inv Asistente) y continuo la investigación en resistencia a antimicrobianos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
