Análisis filológico de textos griegos y latinos, con el correspondiente análisis sintáctico, traducción y comentario. Para realizar este estudio de las obras antiguas en su lengua original, recurro a la consulta constante de gramáticas, diccionarios, comentarios y bibliografía en diversas lenguas extranjeras (inglés, alemán, francés e italiano).Mi investigación se ha centrado en el poeta romano Horacio, especialmente, en su lírica civil. De todos modos, el estudio de su obra se amplía constante... Análisis filológico de textos griegos y latinos, con el correspondiente análisis sintáctico, traducción y comentario. Para realizar este estudio de las obras antiguas en su lengua original, recurro a la consulta constante de gramáticas, diccionarios, comentarios y bibliografía en diversas lenguas extranjeras (inglés, alemán, francés e italiano).Mi investigación se ha centrado en el poeta romano Horacio, especialmente, en su lírica civil. De todos modos, el estudio de su obra se amplía constantemente al relacionar el corpus de poemas seleccionado (el libro de las Odas) con sus otros libros de poesía (Epodos, Sátiras y Epístolas), además de sus estrechos vínculos con la obra de poetas coetáneos como Virgilio, con la de poetas griegos como Píndaro y Alceo y, por supuesto, con la historia y la política de Roma, en particular, con el imperio de Augusto.
