Mi trabajo se centra en el estudio de la regulación de la formación de biofilm de Bordetella bronchiseptica, un patógeno respiratorio, en presencia de componentes de los fluidos de las vías respiratorias del huésped. En particular, nos interesa dilucidar el rol del segundo mensajero c-di-GMP y de algunas adhesinas y toxinas en esta regulación.
