Durante el desarrollo del doctorado en el Instituto de Salud y Ambiente del Litoral hemos optimizado junto al equipo de trabajo una técnica purificación, detección y cuantificación de ADN libre a partir de biopsias líquidas (plasma y orina maternos). Durante esta experiencia he adquirido conocimientos acerca de diferentes técnicas útiles para purificar ADN libre, a realizar clonado y a cuantificar de forma absoluta el ADN libre circulante obtenido a partir de plasma de mujeres embarazadas. Este biomarcador es una herramienta muy valiosa para la aplicación en el área de la obstetricia, y combinado con la utilización de muestras poco o no invasivas, se vuelve muy práctico para utilizarlo como soporte a los diagnósticos convencionales. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
