Desarrollo de un método de producción de poliol a partir de aceite de soja, para su utilización en la fabricación de espumas de poliuretano. Diseño del reactor y realización de pruebas a escala piloto de la síntesis de poliol y optimización del espumado. Modelado cinético de las reacciones de obtención de biopoliol mediante el manejo de del software comercial G-Proms PSE versión 3.2.0. Caracterización de biopolioles obtenidos. Diseño y escalado de proceso. Aplicación de materiales zeoliticos en la revalorización de biomasa vegetal. Manejo de las siguientes técnicas analíticas: cromatografía GC, GC-MS y HPLC. Espectroscopia UV-Vis, F-TIR. Análisis volumétrico. Demanda química de oxígeno, diseño óptimo de experimentos, modelado de superficie de respuesta, y análisis estadístico de resultados. Inmovilización de catalizadores. Investigación educativa: Aplicación de técnicas de aprendizaje basado en problemas para el desarrollo de competencias específicas en estudiantes de 5° año de la carrera de Ingeniería Química *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
