Empecé en 2011 trabajando en la universidad Nacional de Luján en filogeografía y genética de poblaciones de Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris. En la actualidad me encuentro realizando estudios de la misma índole en Cnesterodon decemmaculatus, a lo que le adicioné la posible vinculación que exista entre la contaminación acuática y la diversidad genética hallada utilizando marcadores moleculares nucleares y mitocondriales
