Actualmente desarrollo un proyecto de investigación que indaga en las dificultades gramaticales en la comprensión lingüística de pacientes con APP hablantes del español y busca identificar la progresión del deterioro en la comprensión mediante el estudio del procesamiento del papel temático de agente, tanto en función de sujeto en posición inicial (orden canónico) como en función de complemento en voz pasiva y en estructuras tematizadas. La selección de las estructuras a examinar responde a la prototipicidad de la primera en el uso habitual de la lengua y la importancia que reviste, en la vida cotidiana, la adecuada identificación del responsable de la acción en el evento presentado por una situación comunicativa dada. El estudio del deterioro gramatical de los pacientes con diferentes variantes de APP resulta indispensable para pronosticar la trayectoria del daño y proveer evidencia para la toma de decisiones terapéuticas que busquen sostener el procesamiento lingüístico de los pacientes.
