Los proyectos que desarrollo se basan en la Ingeniería Cristalina, disciplina que alberga como principales intereses el diseño y la síntesis de estructuras cristalinas con propiedades específicas, la química de coordinación, la cristalografía y la química supramolecular. Los sistemas estudiados son construidos a partir de compuestos de coordinación y materiales moleculares. En cuanto a los ligandos y los bloques de construcción, varios proyectos incluyen moléculas derivadas de aminoácidos utilizando polialdehídos como plataformas de construcción. Dentro de las técnicas que domino se destacan la síntesis orgánica e inorgánica utilizando técnicas de trabajo en atmósfera inerte, técnicas espectroscópicas, difracción de rayos X de monocristal (técnica avanzada que requiere el uso de instrumental sofisticado y el tratamiento de datos con cierta complejidad). *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
