El proyecto doctoral consiste en la remoción y recuperación de metales de valor comercial o que puede proporcionar daño ambiental a partir de plaquetas electrónicas molidas. Para llevarlo acabo se procede a acoplar diferentes técnicas tales como la biolixiviación, biocomplejación, procesos de oxidación avanzada, reducción avanzada y adsorción, dependiendo del metal a recuperar. Ya se han realizado ensayos preliminares en plaquetas electrónicas molidas, aplicando biolixiviación y biocomplejación y, actualmente, estamos aplicando sobre las muestras procesos de oxidación avanzada (como foto Fenton) a fin de observar qué orden de aplicación de las técnicas mencionadas resulta más eficiente a la hora de recuperar los metales de interés. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
