A partir de mi tesis de licenciatura, he desarrollado conocimientos referidos a la ecología de mamíferos marinos, principalmente delfínidos, sus comportamientos y asociaciones posibles a factores abióticos. Para mi doctorado me encuentro adquiriendo conocimientos de acústica de mamíferos marinos como herramienta para el estudio de estos animales, complementaria a los métodos tradicionales visuales.
