El campo de investigación es el de la conservación de la biodiversidad, área en la cual me especialicé en estudios de posgrado (Especialización finalizada y Maestría con fecha de defensa de tesis en 2020). Busco trabajar conectando distintas disciplinas y articulando con saberes locales para abordar problemáticas ambientales urbanas, particularmente aquellas ligadas a la gestión de humedales urbanos en cuencas metropolitanas. Para ello incorporo técnicas de investigación en ciencias sociales, que permitan diagnosticar la realidad social en estudio (mediante entrevistas a actores locales, encuestas y trabajo de campo etnográfico), con herramientas de mapeo y teledetección satelital para registrar ecosistemas de humedales en la trama urbana, avanzando en generar iniciativas de planificación y ordenamiento ambiental del territorio (corredores biológicos, áreas protegidas, zonificaciones urbanas, etc.), que incorporen experiencias de participación social en todas las etapas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
