Estudio la hidrogeoquímica del arsénico (As) y flúor (F) en el acuífero Pampeano en la ciudad de Azul, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mi investigación aborda la interacción entre los materiales que componen el acuífero y el agua subterránea, basándome en la geología de subsuelo. El uso de hidrología isotópica, análisis de mezclas de agua y técnicas geofísicas es clave para identificar y caracterizar los procesos que controlan la movilidad de estas especies químicas hacia el medio acuoso. Estas herram... Estudio la hidrogeoquímica del arsénico (As) y flúor (F) en el acuífero Pampeano en la ciudad de Azul, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mi investigación aborda la interacción entre los materiales que componen el acuífero y el agua subterránea, basándome en la geología de subsuelo. El uso de hidrología isotópica, análisis de mezclas de agua y técnicas geofísicas es clave para identificar y caracterizar los procesos que controlan la movilidad de estas especies químicas hacia el medio acuoso. Estas herramientas permiten evaluar el impacto de la explotación de pozos sobre la calidad del agua, generando información clave para la gestión del recurso. El conocimiento generado tiene un alto potencial de extrapolación a otras localidades de la llanura Pampeana, donde la contaminación por As y F es similar. Este estudio busca sentar bases científicas que orienten exploraciones futuras y estrategias sostenibles para mitigar la exposición de la población a estos contaminantes.
