Mi trayectoria académica se desarrolla en el campo de las Humanidades y las Ciencias Sociales, en la disciplina Historia. Mis líneas de investigación articulan la historia cultural, los estudios socio-culturales de la música, la inmigración catalana y la alemana en Buenos Aires. Así, analizo los modos en que la música -la expansión de la ópera alemana- habilitó recursos para constituir identificaciones sociales, como la nacionalidad o el género, en relación a procesos de modernización cultural;... Mi trayectoria académica se desarrolla en el campo de las Humanidades y las Ciencias Sociales, en la disciplina Historia. Mis líneas de investigación articulan la historia cultural, los estudios socio-culturales de la música, la inmigración catalana y la alemana en Buenos Aires. Así, analizo los modos en que la música -la expansión de la ópera alemana- habilitó recursos para constituir identificaciones sociales, como la nacionalidad o el género, en relación a procesos de modernización cultural; y examino las prácticas y los conflictos simbólicos que conforman memorias colectivas divergentes. En relación a ello, las significaciones de las colecciones archivísticas y museográficas constituyen otra línea de indagación. Desde un punto de vista metodológico, domino técnicas cualitativas (análisis de casos, trayectorias, sociabilidades, entrevista) centradas en la crítica de fuentes documentales periodísticas, relatos biográficos, actas, memorias, cartas, discursos, cartografías, imágenes y objetos. Como complemento, se encuadran técnicas cuantitativas vinculadas a estadísticas y censos.
