My main research interest is to study the effects of human impact on wildlife, particularly how in human dominated (urban areas) and productive (forestry, rangelands) landscapes animal species shape and modify their behavior (e.g., activity patterns, resource selection) with respect to more natural contexts. My main research interest is to study the effects of human impact on wildlife, particularly how in human dominated (urban areas) and productive (forestry, rangelands) landscapes animal species shape and modify their behavior (e.g., activity patterns, resource selection) with respect to more natural contexts. I have deepened my experience on the analytic tools and skills needed to characterize human-wildlife interactions since my graduate studies, with particular interest in field experiments for the development of mitigation tools to minimize wildlife damage, and spatial modelling of risk maps of human-wildlife conflict.
