El área en la que desarrollo mis investigaciones es la de las Ciencias Planetarias; particularmente en el estudio de cuerpos menores del Sistema Solar. Mi mayor área de interés es la caracterización de superficies de asteroides aplicando diversas técnicas observacionales, principalmente fotometría y polarimetría. El estudio de estos cuerpos también incluye simulaciones numéricas para analizar posibles orígenes e interacciones entra las diversas poblaciones de objetos de nuestro Sistema Solar
