Desarrolla investigación en el área de ecología,incluyendo composición, abundancia, taxonomía y alimentación, todo en relación con la ictiofauna de la provincia de Misiones. Además, desarrolló su tesis de grado en genética molecular de peces (Characiformes, Leporinus). Actualmente se incorpora al equipo de investigación dirigido por la Dra. von Specht Matha, que aborda el estudio de bacterias relacionadas con las enfermedades humanas.
