Mi experiencia profesional se desarrolla en los ámbitos de los ejes temáticos de Anatomía comparada, ictiología y filogenia. Desarrollé mi Tesis sobre Filogenia del género Astyanax, uno los géneros de peces mas diversos de peces Neotropicales. Actualmente estoy trabajando en una matriz morfológica y molecular, numerosas especies de distintas cuencas neotropicales, para dilucidar las relaciones filogenéticas entre los distintos taxones (Astyanax, Psalidodon, Andromakhe).Asimismo trabajo en Ictiología general: taxonomía alfa, filogenia, distribución de diferentes grupos de peces, en especial, contienentales *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
