Mi linea de trabajo en Investigación es Nefrologia, en especial he trabajado en modelo experimentales que conduzcan a fibrogenesis precoz como la nefropatia obstructiva , evaluado mecanismos involucrados en la citoprotección de células epiteliales tubulares. Mi entrenamiento en microdisección tubular me ha permitido el estudio enzimático de segmentos tubulares como la medición de pH intracelular en túbulos aislados. Recientemente hemos iniciado protocolos experimentales en cultivo primario de células epiteliales tubulares proximales incorporando técnicas de microscopia confocal, inmunoprecipitación de proteinas y transfección con plásmidos para el silenciamiento de proteinas de nuestro interés. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
