Mi área de especialización actual es la sociología del campo científico. Analizo las modalidades de circulación del conocimiento científico y cómo se relacionan con la construcción de trayectorias investigadores/as, en el marco de la crítica de la economía política del conocimiento. Desde 2021analizo el creciente impacto de los APC (Article Processing Charges) en las posibilidades de publicación desde los países periféricos.Las técnicas que domino son diversas, dada mi trayectoria formativa y las áreas en las que me he especializado. Incluyen el trabajo con grandes volúmenes de datos bibliométricos correspondientes a las publicaciones científicas de países o instituciones completas. He desarrollado y continúo perfeccionando habilidades para el análisis de este tipo de datos, su validez y confiabilidad, su procesamiento, su conservación a lo largo del tiempo y su puesta en disponibilidad en forma de datos abiertos. Asimismo, domino diversas técnicas cualitativas como la entrevista en profundidad, el análisis de trayectorias, el uso de fuentes históricas, entre otras. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
