Alargar el ciclo de vida de los desechos, aprovechando desechos industriales y agrícolas para crear Productos de Valor Agregado (VAPs) mediante métodos sostenibles. Investigar conversiones termoquímicas y catalíticas de desechos comunes, así como transformaciones de biolíquidos y biocarbones, explorando aplicaciones específicas. Estudiar procesos catalíticos en la producción o modificación de componentes en biolíquidos. Utilizar biocarbones o biocarbones modificados en Procesos de Oxidación Avanzada para purificar aguas contaminadas. Desarrollar y evaluar catalizadores basados en biocarbones, sistemas mesoporosos, y compuestos magnéticos con o sin metales como Fe, Co, Pd, Cu, Ag, Au, etc. Analizar cómo las propiedades físicoquímicas de los catalizadores afectan su eficacia en las reacciones deseadas. Evaluar económicamente los VAPs generados por la pirólisis de biomasa residual para identificar oportunidades comerciales para empresas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
