Doctor en Antropología (UBA); Magister en Ciencias Sociales (Universidad Nacional de Quilmes); Lic en Historia (Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia);. Docente e investigador con dedicación exclusiva en la Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia. Además es docente co-responsable de la Cátedra Abierta de Estudios Urbanos y Territoriales (UNP, Trelew). Es miembro del comité directivo del Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas y Sociales (INSHIS). Integrante del grupo de estudios sobre Movilidades, Inmovilidades y territorios (GEMIT). Sus temáticas de interés se vinculan a las migraciones contemporáneas en y desde África, trabajadas en sus tesis de Licenciatura, Maestría y Doctorado. Ha ocupado los cargos de Delegado Zonal en la sede Trelew de la UNP y de Pro-Secretario de Extensión de la FHyCS (UNP).
