Desde mi tesis de doctorado trabajo temas de historia social colonial, con énfasis en las comunidades indígenas institucionalizadas (pueblos de indios) en Santiago del Estero durante el siglo XVIII. Hace cuatro años comencé a trabajar en conjunto con una arqueóloga, examinando fuentes más tempranas desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria.
