Diseño de biomateriales funcionales para regeneración de tejidos. Conocimiento de nanoestructuración del colágeno dirigida a la proliferación celular para facilitar el crecimiento de los tejidos .Desarrollo de liposomas para controlar la liberación de los fármacos encapsulados (antibióticos y antiinflamatorios). Capacidad para el desarrollo de síntesis de nanopartículas metálicas, tanto por métodos químicos como síntesis verdes.
