Soy bióloga de la Universidad Industrial de Santander (Colombia), con formación en Biología Celular y Molecular, Bioinformática y Neurociencia. Actualmente curso un doctorado, investigando el canal iónico ASIC1 y su papel en la enfermedad de Huntington (HD), utilizando modelos murinos (zQ175) y celulares (HEK293) para analizar su regulación como posible diana terapéutica.Tengo experiencia en biología molecular y celular, incluyendo Western blot, PCR, cultivos celulares, transfección, geles de movilidad, electrofisiología y microscopía, así como en análisis de modificaciones postraduccionales y tratamiento de datos genéticos.He investigado la agregación de proteínas anómalas en HD y participo en estudios sobre la enfermedad de Fabry y otras patologías neurodegenerativas. He publicado nueve artículos científicos en revistas indexadas y fui auxiliar docente en biología molecular. Cuento con dos maestrías en Neurociencia y Biología Molecular Médica (UBA), con investigaciones en IFIBYNE-CONICET, donde realizo mi tesis doctoral.
