Me desempeño profesionalmente en el área de Biotecnología del medio ambiente, biodegradación microbiológica de hidrocarburos en suelo. En el área de la biología molecular cuento con amplia experiencia en (1) extracciones de DNA de cultivo bacteriano y de suelo, purificación de DNA, PCR, DGGE, clonación, electroforesis en geles de agarosa y poliacrilamida. Construcción y análisis de bibliotecas metagenómica utilizando fosmidos y shotgun, (2) en la utilización de herramientas bioinformáticas (calidad, limpieza, alineamiento, asignación taxonómica, ensamblado, predicción de genes y anotación) para asignar filogenia e identidad, para múltiples secuencias provenientes de secuenciación masiva de un gen (diversidad y de funcionalidad) y para el análisis de genomas bacterianos, (3) en extracciones de RNA a partir de cultivos puros o mixtos de microorganismos, retro-transcripción y análisis de expresión por qPCR, curva de calibración para cada gen o relativizando con gen housekeeping, (4) en extracciones de proteínas, electroforesis nativa, SDS-PAGE, 2-DE y análisis por MALDI-TOF MS/MS. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
