Inicié mi formación en investigación durante la tesina de grado, enfocada en la evaluación de contaminación por herbicidas en sistemas dulceacuícolas de áreas agrícolas mediante bioensayos de toxicidad en vegetales e invertebrados acuáticos. Inicié mi formación en investigación durante la tesina de grado, enfocada en la evaluación de contaminación por herbicidas en sistemas dulceacuícolas de áreas agrícolas mediante bioensayos de toxicidad en vegetales e invertebrados acuáticos. Desde 2020, tras ingresar al CONICET con beca doctoral en Temas Estratégicos, investigo el desarrollo de matas microbianas en ambientes sedimentarios hipersalinos y la respuesta de estas comunidades microbianas (dominadas por cianobacterias) a condiciones extremas, y así generar herramientas multidisciplinares para el estudio de sistemas actuales y análogos fósiles. Durante este período adquirí experiencia en el uso de técnicas analíticas para la determinación de especies químicas en agua, clorofila, materia orgánica y carbono orgánico en sedimentos, técnicas de microscopía, así como también en el diseño y ejecución de ensayos experimentales con estresores ambientales en cultivos microbianos.
