Mi proyecto de tesis doctoral tiene como objetivo general investigar la relación entre la mitocondria y el sistema endosoma-lisosomal en la fisiopatología de la variante CLN7 de Lipofuscionsis Ceroidea Neuronal. Los objetivos específicos son: Analizar fenotípica y genotícamente casos retrospectivos y prospectivos sospechosos de presentar la enfermedad CLN7 ingresados en la cohorte Córdoba. Comprobar experimentalmente la patogenicidad de las mutaciones no validadas en pacientes CLN7 la cohorte Córdoba. Estudiar la asociación física de lisosomas y mitocondrias en células HeLa en condiciones normales y deficientes de MFSD8/CLN7. Estudiar la participación de la proteína MFSD8/CLN7 en los sitios de contacto de membrana entre lisosomas y mitocondrias. Para lo cual se emplearán técnicas de cultivo celular, trasnfecciones celulares, western blot, entre otras, haciendo hincapié en la microscopía. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
