Durante mi tesis doctoral evalué el efecto de los diferentes usos de suelo próximo sobre la calidad ambiental y los ensambles de peces en el arroyo Langueyú (Tandil). A partir de ello, diseñé un índice de integridad biótica, una herramienta de evaluación ambiental que utiliza los peces como bioindicadores de la calidad ambiental de arroyos pampeanos. Actualmente soy becaria post-doctoral de CONICET y estoy trabajando en explorar la respuesta de los ensambles parasitarios de peces a las diferentes condiciones ambientales en diferentes lagunas pampeanas, y evaluar su posible uso como bioindicadores. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
