Realicé mi doctorado en Biología, "FACTORES EXTRÍNSECOS CONDICIONANTES DE LA FUNCIÓN DE RECEPTORES CYS-LOOP: RELEVANCIA FIOSOLÓGICA Y PATOLÓGICA", durante el cual utilicé una gran diversidad de técnicas de biología molecular, bioquímicas y biofísicas, entre las que se pueden mencionar: purificación y expresión de proteínas; PCR; Western Blot; espectroscopía de fluorescencia; microscopía de fluorescencia y confocal; estudios funcionales utilizando la técnica de patch-clamp; cultivo celular, ent... Actualmente me encuentro realizando un posdoctorado en el área de ecología microbiana: "Análisis de la seguridad microbiológica y ambiental del uso de digerido anaeróbico de estiércol como fertilizante en lechuga (Lactuca sativa L.)". Utilizo técnicas diversas tanto en laboratorio como a campo incluyendo muestreos, extracción de ADN, cultivo celular, PCR y qPCR, técnicas microbiológicas, entre otras.
