Claudia Aguilar es Doctora en Filosofía por la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Se desempeñacomo docente en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y la Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales. Sus investigaciones se centran en la Filosofía Moderna Temprana. Actualmente se encuentra realizando un posdoctorado sobre la metafísica y la filosofía natural de Margaret Cavendish en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, con una beca del CONICET. Ha recibido becas por parte del CONICET (Beca Interna Doctoral), del Servicio Alemán para el Intercambio Académico (DAAD- Becas de Estancia Corta) y Marie - Curie Rise. Fue miembro en distintas investigaciones PICT y UBACYT. Ha presentado diversos trabajos en eventos académicos nacionales e internacionales, y posee publicaciones de libros, capítulos y artículos en revistas especializadas, principalmente sobre las filosofías de Baruch Spinoza y Margaret Cavendish.
