I am working in medical image processing of 3D CT and MRI volumes. My research interest is the development of vertebral micro-structural parameters for clinical in-vivo CT with neural networks, fractal and texture methods. I am also studying fractal and texture methods in the context of diffusion MRI. Since 2018 I am working primary in convolutional and generative neural networks with the goal to develop a self-improving diagnostic system for the diagnosis of osteoporosis based on artificial microstructural bone data. Since 2021 I am working with bone microstructure, obtained from ultra-high resolution Photon-counting CT. My current working hypothesis is that in-vivo ultra-high-resolution photon-counting CT combined with artificial intelligence techniques may not only improve diagnostic power of osteoporosis but present a disruptive technology, thus being able to obtain a entirely new and superior kind of micro-structural features. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
