Durante los años de trabajo en CYT adquirí diferentes conocimientos y habilidades: durante mi doctorado, realicé una estancia de investigación en la Universidad de Bangor, donde adquirí experiencia en el cultivo de microorganismos anaerobios acidófilos. Realicé estudios de diversidad microbiana en ambientes extremos empleando técnicas de biología molecular y de cultivo de microorganismos anaerobios (sulfato-reductores, hierro-reductores, etc). Durante mi beca postdoctoral participe en las campañas antárticas de verano (2017, 2018 y 2019) con el grupo de Microbiología Ambiental del IAA. Adquirí experiencia en la toma de muestras de sedimentos y agua en ambientes marinos y volcánicos. Realicé tres estancias de investigación de postdoctorado en la Universidad de Bremen, donde adquirí experiencia en la técnica de Stable Isotope Probing (SIP) además de otras técnicas como qPCR, extracción de ARN y construcción de librerías por metagenómica y cultivo de microorganismos anaerobios. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
