Mi especialidad se centra en la química de polisacáridos. Trabajo en el aislamiento, caracterización y estudio estructural de polisacáridos de paredes celulares de plantas y algas, pero mi conocimiento y experiencia me habilita a trabajar con polisacáridos de cualquier origen. Tengo experiencia en métodos cromatográficos de separación y análisis de mono-, oligo- y polisacáridos. Cromatografía gaseosa, HPLC, de permeación en geles. Métodos químicos, como metilación, desulfatación, hidrólisis parcial en diferentes condiciones, modificación de polisacáridos. En cuanto a los métodos espectroscópicos aplicados a polisacáridos, los mas importantes son la espectroscopía de resonancia magnética nuclear, FTIR, etc. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
