Carlos Martín Rodríguez Buscia es Becario PosDoctoral CONICET. Es Doctor en Ciencias Sociales (UBA), Magister en Historia (UNMdP) y Profesor en Historia (UNT). Es miembro del Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo del Turismo (CIDETUR) de la Escuela de Economía y Negocios de la Universidad de San Martín (UNSAM). Se desempeña como docente en las carreras de Turismo de la Universidad Nacional de Lanús y la Universidad Nacional de San Martín. Su línea de investigación actual se centra en la historia del turismo y el patrimonio, enfocando particularmente el noroeste argentino. Esta veta es desarrollada a partir del estudio de distintos tópicos tales como el rol del Estado, la historia de las infraestructuras, la formación y evolución de las representaciones y los imaginarios turísticos, el papel de la cartografía y la construcción del patrimonio cultural. Cuenta con artículos académicos publicados en revistas indexadas de primer nivel nacional e internacional, capítulos de libro y ha participado en numerosos congresos científicos.
