El tema principal de investigación se centra en la descripción y sistemática de los braquiópodos "inarticulados" (Linguliformea y Craniiformea) del Paleozoico de Argentina. El principal objetivo de mis estudios, es profundizar en la sistemática y taxonomía del grupo. También, el trabajo incluye bioestratigrafía y estudios en las afinidades faunísticas de los inarticulados dentro del marco de la paleobiogeografía, además de estudios y análisis paleoecológicos y filogenéticos
