Mi línea de trabajo en investigación, educación y conservación busca reforzar y ampliar estudios ambientales desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria en Tierra del Fuego. Utiliza una aproximación integradora para abordar preguntas relacionadas con i) el papel de especies en la función ecosistémica, particularmente arroyos; ii) la ecología y manejo de especies invasoras; y iii) la integración de la dimensión humana en la ecología y el manejo. A pesar de ser considerado como un bioma 'prístino', la Patagonia Austral debería ser entendida como un 'sistema socio-ecológico' y por ello priorizo trabajar no solo en sus áreas protegidas sino también en los sistemas forestales, silvopastoriles y urbanos.
