Mi línea de investigación se orienta al análisis comparativo de la dinámica hidrogeomorfológica en áreas ribereñas con distintos grados de antropización en cuencas de clima templado. El crecimiento urbano y la expansión sobre espacios inundables, junto con la variabilidad climática y el aumento en la frecuencia de eventos hidrometeorológicos extremos, configuran escenarios de riesgo cada vez más complejos. Frente a ello, me interesa desarrollar estrategias de ordenamiento territorial que favorezcan usos del suelo compatibles con las dinámicas fluviales, reduzcan la vulnerabilidad socioambiental y preserven los ecosistemas ribereños. Asimismo, mi trabajo busca contribuir a la sensibilización y valorización de estos espacios dentro de la biosfera, promoviendo una relación más sostenible y respetuosa entre las sociedades y los sistemas fluviales. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
